Welcome Back
Thanks to everyone who joined us virtually last season – your participation put the FUN in the 2021 Virtual Fun Run Series!
We’re excited about the return of our in-person races!! But, we HEARD you – many said they would like the virtual series to continue…
So, PGRR’s 2022 season will be offering the best of BOTH run worlds: in-person races AND a virtual series.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to choose! With a Full membership, you can decide which option works best for you at the time of the event: join us in-person; or participate from your vacation spot, work location, etc., and submit your results to the virtual series.

2022 Virtual Fun Run Series
The challenge weeks for the year’s Virtual Fun Run Series will coincide with the in-person events.
We’ve simplified the results submission process this year – after completing your run, you’ll be able to go to the VFRS page on our website and upload your results.
Family Rate
With an adult Full membership, children 17 and under can sign up for a non-competitive membership for $25 per child. This provides all the benefits of our adult full membership – like the 2022 t-shirt and season finisher’s medal - it’s just not for competitive young athletes wanting to be eligible for age category BC Athletics.
2022 Season Policies
- PGRR’s top priority is to ensure the health and safety of our participants and volunteers, as the club returns to hosting in-person events.
- PGRR will continue to abide by all provincial and regional Health Orders and follow recommendations from BC Athletics.
- There are nine in-person races and events scheduled for the 2022 season, but that plan is dependent upon PHOs in place at the time of each event. Should an in-person event be cancelled, we encourage members to take part in the virtual series’ event.
- PGRR will have a Covid Safety plan in place for each in-person event. To minimize risks, there will not be any hydration or snack stations this season. Participants must bring their own water/nutrition supplies.
- PGRR encourages all members to practise health and safety protocols to keep our events safe. Anyone not feeling well or experiencing any symptoms related to COVID must not participate for the safety of others.
- While memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable, we have discounted our Full membership price for the season due to the uncertainty posed by the ongoing pandemic. We thank you for your understanding and hope you’ll join us as we attempt to ‘get back to normal.’
