Stride & Glide Sports 2011/12 Junior Boot Program (JBP)

Welcome to the Stride & Glide Sports Junior Ski Boot Program. This program is designed to make equipment purchasing for junior skiers easier and more economical at a time when their foot size may be changing from year to year. This program can be applied to all purchases of new Rossignol X1, Rossignol Comp J, Salomon Mini or Salomon Skiathlon Junior ski boots from Stride & Glide Sports.

All new Rossignol X1, Rossignol Comp J, Salomon Mini or Salomon Skiathlon Junior ski boots purchased from Stride & Glide Sports are eligible for the boot program. These boots can then be sold back to Stride & Glide Sports the following fall for a credit towards another pair of junior ski boots. Ski boot returns will be accepted between September 1^st and November 30^th, after this time period Stride & Glide Sports will not accept any boot returns. The boots that have been returned will be available for resale. This means that you may find a pair of used boots that you can apply your boot credit towards, thus saving even more money.

Example:

· Winter of 2010/11:

A new Rossignol X1, Rossignol Comp J, Salomon Mini or Salomon Skiathlon Junior Boot is purchased from Stride & Glide Sports

· Winter of 2011/12:

The boot no longer fits your child and you would like to sell it back. The 2010/11 Rossignol X1 or Salomon Mini Junior boot can be returned for a $40 credit, or the Rossignol Comp J ($70 credit) or Salomon Skiathlon Junior ($80 credit) towards either a new pair of ski boots or a pair of previously returned boots for your child.

FAQ

I cannot find my original receipt for my child’s boots, can I still take part in the JBP? Just come on into the store and we can pull up your purchase records on our computer system. Our records are enough to allow you to take part in the JBP.

I am bringing my child’s boots in as part of the JBP in September but do not want to purchase their new boots yet. How long do I have until I have to use my credit? Your credit as part of the JBP is valid for one year, this means that you can bring your old boots back in September, and then shop for a new pair in December if you want. This may allow you to find another pair of boots in the JBP that are being sold at a reduced price, thus allowing you to save even more money.

I purchased a pair of Rossignol X1 Junior boots at another store, can I return them at Stride & Glide Sports as part of the JBP? Unfortunately we cannot buy these boots back from you, only boots purchased from Stride & Glide Sports are applicable for the JBP.

My child does not want to ski this year; can his brother or sister buy a pair of boots using our applied credit? Yes, we will extend the use of the JBP to any child living in the same household as the original purchaser.

My child has grown out of Junior sizes and will be skiing at a level higher than a Junior boot allows, can we trade her boots in for something different than your Junior boot? Yes, you can use your credit towards any ski boot for your child; however this new boot cannot to be brought back next year as a trade-in. Only the Rossignol X1, Rossignol Comp J, Salomon Mini or Salomon Skiathlon Junior ski boots may be returned for credit.

My child will not be skiing anymore; can I use their credit towards a pair of ski boots for myself or on some wax? Unfortunately not, the JBP is designed to help you with purchases of Junior boots only.

My child is not skiing this year, his younger brother will be skiing next winter, can I use my credit towards ski boots next year? Yes, you have one year to use your credit in the JBP. This means that you can bring your old boots back this winter and use your credit towards a new pair next year.

I see you are having an equipment sale, can I use my boot credit towards the purchase of sale boots? Unfortunately not, your JBP credit is only applicable on the purchase of regular priced boots or boots that have previously been returned as part of the JBP.
